USCIS Backlog Reaches Record 11.3 Million Cases

USCIS's pending caseload has reached a record 11.3 million applications and petitions, according to new data from the American Immigration Council. Average backlog clearance time has increased to about 18.6 months, while denial rates have risen in several categories, including EB-1 extraordinary ability and EB-2 National Interest Waiver cases.
