State Department Revokes More Than 175,000 Visas

The State Department says it has revoked more than 175,000 visas since President Trump took office in January 2025. Most revocations followed law enforcement encounters involving offenses such as assault, DUI, theft, and drug violations. The department also cited fraud and national security concerns, while immigration attorneys have raised concerns about revocations following police encounters without a criminal conviction.
