DHS Proposes Major Naturalization Fee Increase

DHS has proposed raising the naturalization application fee from $710 to $1,280 for online filings and from $760 to $1,330 for paper filings. The proposal would also eliminate reduced fees and fee waivers for most applicants. Public comments are due by August 24, 2026, while current fees remain unchanged for now.
