Frequently Asked Questions

Green Card eligibility depends on several factors including family relationships with U.S. citizens or permanent residents, employment offers or skills, educational background, and your current immigration status. During the consultation, we'll review your specific situation across all major categories including family-based, employment-based (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3), National Interest Waiver (NIW), and other pathways.
Please prepare a brief summary of your educational background, work experience, current immigration status (visa type), and any family members who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. If you have specific questions or concerns about your eligibility, write them down beforehand. Having this information ready will help us maximize the value of your 30-minute session.

For the initial consultation, you don't need to bring formal documents. However, having copies of your passport, current visa, resume/CV, and educational certificates handy can be helpful for reference. We'll provide you with a detailed document checklist at the end of the consultation based on the pathway identified for you.

The consultation is conducted virtually via video call (Zoom or similar platform). You'll receive a meeting link after booking. The session is one-on-one with an experienced immigration attorney who will review your profile, answer your questions, and provide personalized guidance on your Green Card options.
After the consultation, you'll receive a summary of the discussion including the Green Card pathways identified for you, a checklist of required documents, and recommended next steps. If you decide to move forward with a Green Card application, we can discuss full representation services. There's no obligation to proceed beyond the consultation.

Even if you're not immediately eligible, the consultation will provide valuable guidance on what steps you can take to strengthen your case for the future. We'll discuss timeline expectations, alternative visa options, and strategies to build eligibility over time. Many clients benefit from understanding their options before they're ready to apply.
