
Kate graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2018. She later earned her Juris Doctorate in 2023 from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law, where she focused her studies on immigration. Throughout law school she worked for the Knoxville Public Defender’s Community Law Office, immigration nonprofits, and private immigration firms to gain experience in humanitarian and business-focused immigration services. Upon graduating, Kate was selected as an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow and was placed at Lutheran Social Services of New York. In this role she represented asylum seekers, Special Immigrant Juveniles, and other immigrants seeking humanitarian forms of relief in New York City. At Raju Law, Kate enjoys working on the NIW team with clients from a wide variety of industries. Outside of work, she shares her time between New York City and Tennessee and enjoys playing pickleball.
