Demi Ongolo has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences & Policy with a Minor in Political Science from Duke University. She also earned her Juris Doctor from The University of North Carolina School of Law. Demi’s passion for immigration law stemmed from her service in the UNC Immigration Law Clinic and in her role as Defense Counsel for the Graduate and Professional Honor Court helping international students. She is a professional writer who practices advocating for her clients to convey their circumstances in a proficient manner. Demi is a member of AILA with experience in business immigration, family immigration, and asylum. Demi cares about the outcomes of her clients and keeps a listening ear to their needs over the course of her career. Helping individuals, families, and businesses resolve their immigration needs has been her focus and passion for many years. In addition to advocating for her clients, she enjoys sightseeing and resides with her husband and their wonderful family cat.
